The Phillips family of Dallas, Texas is one of the Southwest's most prominent and respected families. Originally trained in chemical engineering, Gene Phillips is especially concerned about the growing energy shortage, and his focus is not solely directed stateside. He is exploring new energy opportunities in several European and African countries where he sees tremendous growth potential. Gene Phillips is dedicated to helping developing countries establish affordable and reliable electricity. Gene Phillips has recently travelled to many African countries, including Nigeria, Botswana, Ghana, and The Republic of Cameroon, to help identify solutions to energy issues in the hopes of strengthening these successful African nations’ power infrastructures, as they continue on their path to economic security.
